Pascale Gourdeau

Faculty Lecturer at McGill University

ABOUT

I am a Faculty Lecturer at McGill University. Prior to that, I was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Vector Institute. I was advised by Nicolas Papernot and Shai Ben-David and worked in learning theory, more precisely on the interplay between computatbility and learnability, as well as on fairness. Previously, I obtained a DPhil (PhD) at the University of Oxford under the supervision of James Worrell, Varun Kanade and Marta Kwiatkowska. My thesis studied the sample complexity of robust learning under evasion (test-time) attacks. I obtained my masters at McGill University's Reasoning and Learning Lab and was supervised by Prakash Panangaden and Doina Precup. My thesis focused on quantifying the behavioural distance between automata.

For a list of publications, see Google scholar.

I do not take Masters or PhD students at the moment, and thus will not respond to supervision requests.
